An Essential Tool For Windows Tweaking

From taking some options off the context menu to speed it up to cleaning the internet history, there are so many small tiny tasks which can take a lot of your time. You can get all small windows tweaking in one place without paying a fortune. Use Glary Utilities!

I started using this utility a few days back and now I regret why couldn't I get my hands on it earlier in my life.

It is handy and can be helpful in:
  1. Enhancing and optimizing the performance of windows
  2. Removing errors from registry
  3. Fixing applications and programs errors
  4. Freeing up disk space by actually deleting files
  5. Uninstalling a program completely
  6. Providing direct access to some of windows tools
  7. Many more...
It can even help you in managing the add-on of IE.

I strongly recommend this program for windows performance management.

Get it here.

DiskDigger - File Recovery: So Easy

What if you mistakenly delete your files on hard disk or may be on USB or storage card? Obviously you would get panic and will try everything on earth for the recovery of it.

Okay lemme save you from all this. Try DiskDigger.

As the name says, it will dig each sector of your media for any signs of lost data. It can recover full or parts of files i.e. if the file is overwritten by any other file. The best part of it is that it doesn’t save or modify your files on the drive.

There is a lacking, however, that DiskDigger can work on some specific file formats and configurations. But hope the developers will get some more cool features added to it soon.

This application can be carried on any portable media as it is just an executable without any installation needed

Uninstalling Windows Live Messenger 9.0

I found a link to Windows Live Messenger (WLM) 9 and excitedly installed it; but that was a nightmare. I don’t know why it just didn’t signed me in. I tried every link on net; including Microsoft’s own help center, to resolve my issue, but all in vain.

Finally, I decided to uninstall it. I opened Control Panel and to my extreme horror, I didn’t find the uninstall option there; even I checked the Show Updates option too. There started my googling, and at last found something that may help you guys too.

All you need to do is open RUN from Start Menu and use the following line:

msiexec /x {0AAA9C97-74D4-47CE-B089-0B147EF3553C}

Click on OK and you will get rid of this obnoxious thing.

Cheers!!!
